Overview of the Role: 


The Associate Sales Director is responsible for the overall recruitment of current PMG Care Centers into Privia’s workflow solutions products. This individual will own the full sales cycle and will be required to build relationships with current and prospective providers and Privia employees. Additionally, the Associate Product Sales Director will be responsible for walking through demonstrations of the athenahealth suite of tools with prospective physician practices. 


The ideal candidate is someone comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, excels at relationship building, and has high attention to detail. They should have demonstrated experience consistently meeting and exceeding goals.


Primary Job Duties: 


Same Store Growth Sales

  • Conduct initial sales meetings and platform demonstrations of platform products with current PMG Care Centers and manage opportunities to close 
  • Track activities, leads, and pending deals in Salesforce (CRM) and participate in weekly sales meetings and calls with internal and external teams
  • Contribute new ideas and share best practices with a rapidly scaling national sales team
  • Create relationships with prospective physicians and follow through with communications to prospects
  • Consult with Performance Management to identify ideal PMG Care Centers for the products


Pre-Sales Engagement 

  • Assist with recruiting independent physician practices through demonstration of Privia’s technology platform, including athenahealth’s suite of services. 
  • Serve as primary demonstration specialist for remote demonstrations 
  • Work with Sales & Marketing teams to align messaging throughout sales process 
  • Partner as a trusted advisor to the sales team, helping to form comprehensive strategies for each opportunity. 
  • Anticipate and handle objections during the sales process articulating clear and concise responses that position the benefits of the platform 


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of sales experience in an ambulatory EHR environment 
  • Experience developing or working with clinical workflows
  • Strong objection management and sales techniques (preferable) 
  • Healthcare experience working with physician offices (preferable) 
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com (preferable) 
  • Must provide reliable transportation
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

Technical Requirements:

In order to successfully work remotely, supporting our patients and providers, we require a minimum of 5 MBPS for Download Speed and 3 MBPS for the Upload Speed.
