Overview of the Role:

 

The Lab Implementation Manager is a key member of the practice operations team, responsible for successfully onboarding physician practices onto Privia’s physician office lab (POL). This role is a player-coach, responsible for executing on a highly detailed implementation plan while coordinating cross-team activities to ensure successful onboarding. Day-to-day, the Lab Implementation Manager / Associate is the primary point-of-contact, project manager, and change agent for providers during their onboarding to the lab. 

 

Primary Job Duties:

 

  • Provide project management, training, and support throughout the implementation and go-live of physician practices on our physician office laboratory
  • Lead and coordinate onboarding activities between the practice and Privia’s vendors, including our lab management partner
  • Train physicians, providers, and office staff on lab workflows, processes and technologies
  • Track and manage post-launch key performance metrics
  • Manage a detailed project plan and communicate status to the client and Privia leadership
  • Manage multiple projects at once
  • Manage change and client expectations effectively
  • Establish aggressive timelines and confront critical-path items and deadlines
  • Willingness and ability for overnight travel to customers within your market
  • Identify issues that occur on a repeated basis and provide feedback to management
  • Remain flexible to take on other duties as may be assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years experience with program and system implementations and training
  • Technical project management in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Prior experience in laboratory or physician office setting, including knowledge of physician office workflow and processes is preferred
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Ability to work with different levels of clinical personnel including providers
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
