Overview of the Role:


The Manager, Quality acts as a strategy and subject matter expert to the Population Health team and across the company in the Mid-Atlantic market. The Manager, Quality is responsible for creating quality strategy within their specific market and building long term vision with teams in and outside of Privia Health to succeed in quality outcomes, such as mapping out technology needs and enhancements, partnering with payers, and identifying and establishing tactics with network partners. The Manager, Quality will be responsible for coordinating strategy and operations for MIPS, MSSP, and STARs programs, as well as commercial value-based care programs. 


Primary Job Duties: 


  • Build strategy on key quality and clinical opportunity areas by understanding the details of Privia’s payer contracts and the quality outcomes they require and become the internal subject matter expert on particular areas of clinical quality as needed
    • Medicare Shared Savings Program
    • Medicare Advantage STARs Programs
    • Commercial Quality Programs
  • Design workflows to meet quality outcomes and partner with internal teams to implement including building process documentation for HEDIS quality measures
  • Lead committees with providers
  • Manage team members when applicable 
  • Facilitate sharing best practices between markets
  • Collaborate with external payer team members on strategies related to clinical quality outcomes
  • Manage and support relationships between internal partners and external payers 
  • Work with teams across the company to support their key processes or areas of improvement as needed
  • Working knowledge of EHR quality management programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Public Health preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • Healthcare experience required; Experience with Quality programs such as MSSP or HEDIS strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Must reside in market of assignment unless otherwise agreed upon with Market President
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
