Title/Position: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Overview of the Role:


The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing direct patient care in Privia Medical Group offices or virtually. Day-to-day, this role will be treating patients through a HIPAA-compliant platform and will support efforts in meeting targets for value-based care programs in both quality and RAF benchmarks.


Primary Job Duties: 


  • Complete Annual Wellness Visits and other office visits at assigned office locations or via telemedicine
  • Manage and maintain an active caseload of patients and perform associated functions of annual wellness visits, as well as other types of visits
  • Support and drive execution on key Privia programs, including Annual Wellness Visits, Quality, HCC initiatives
  • Ability to administer required vaccines and order screening exams as per protocol
  • Clinical and administrative patient outreach as needed
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to travel to throughout the entire Gulf Coast market


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Active PA or NP license required with Board Certification
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in TX 
  • 3+ years of clinical practice in Family Medicine 
  • Experience delivering care in-office and through telehealth modalities
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
