Overview of the Role:

The Provider On-boarding Associate is a key member of the Performance team. This role oversees and drives Privia’s process in the welcoming and on-boarding process of a new provider at one of our partnered Care Centers.  The Associate serves as the primary point of contact, ensuring that the new providers have a welcoming, positive and thorough on-boarding experience and that they are efficiently prepared to to be an engaged member of the medical group.  


Primary Job Duties: 

  • Coordinate the development of the on-boarding process and provide updates to ensure the materials used are current.
  • Partner with various teams and coordinate the launch of on-boarding for new providers, at existing Care Centers, into Privia Medical Group. 
  • Execute on project plans to bring the new providers through the various phases of their on-boarding experience. 
  • Set expectations on standard timelines and work with new providers to ensure their on-boarding responsibilities are met. 
  • Work with various internal teams to address roadblocks, anticipate challenges before they occur, and ensure a smooth and timely on-boarding experience. 
  • Lead and coordinate activity between the practice and the rest of the Privia teams including but not limited to New Provider Recruitment, Marketing, Finance, IT, Billing, Credentialing, Performance Management and Population Health teams as necessary. 
  • Provide training and other helpful resources in order to aid the provider’s on-boarding.
  • Manage a detailed project plan and communicate status to the client and Privia management team 
  • Communicate updates to Care Centers.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • 2- 4 years experience in practice operations or project management preferred
  • Experience with project management tools 
  • Knowledgeable of medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to work with different levels of clinical personnel including physicians, advanced practitioners and allied health professionals
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

Technical Requirements for Remote Work:

In order to successfully work remotely, supporting our patients and providers, we require a minimum of 5 MBPS for Download Speed and 3 MBPS for the Upload Speed. This gives you an update as to how fast data transfer is with your internet connection and if it meets the minimum speed requirements.
